The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Hasselqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 3 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Hasselqvist came free, but Cosme Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dr Lecter SC defense, Luiz Fabiano Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Pere. The Dr Lecter SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Pere should have stopped the shot. Yiğitcan İstanbullu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omid Kaulbach in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match, Corneliu Dridu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Antunes in the 17th minute of the match. Yiğitcan İstanbullu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corneliu Dridu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu got control of the ball when Corneliu Dridu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno do Valle in the 24th minute of play. Yiğitcan İstanbullu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno do Valle in the 36th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yiğitcan İstanbullu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Antunes in the 39th minute of play. Cosme Pere came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jurassic Monsters SA's Luiz Fabiano Lima. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alfredo Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu got control of the ball when Wanderson Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yiğitcan İstanbullu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corneliu Dridu in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yiğitcan İstanbullu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jurassic Monsters SA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wanderson Fernandez was slow to take the kick. During this time Dr Lecter SC's players had a chance to rest. 62 minutes into the game, Efe Tamer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dr Lecter SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurassic Monsters SA the free kick. In the 64th minute, Thomas Hasselqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corneliu Dridu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yiğitcan İstanbullu saved Jurassic Monsters SA from getting behind. Corneliu Dridu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yiğitcan İstanbullu having to make a save. In the 69th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Cosme Pere made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Thomas Hasselqvist sent off a good shot on target. Dr Lecter SC's Wanderson Fernandez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliézer Ramos, made in the 78th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omid Kaulbach in the 79th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Dridu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 84th minute of play. Alfredo Sá's late challenge caught a Dr Lecter SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Sá helped the player get up and apologised. If Corneliu Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 90th minute of the match. Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Luiz Fabiano Lima made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Pere. Dr Lecter SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Dr Lecter SC's Laércio Guedes was substituted for Lauro Antunes. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jurassic Monsters SA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
