The throw-in from Tomás Faria in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zebus FC's Hermínio Figueiredo. Aloísio Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto do Nascimento in the 20th minute of play. Lauro Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Aloísio Sergipano made a huge save. Bruce Lee F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Faria in the 23rd minute. Tomás Faria made a great header on Bruce Lee F.C.'s corner, it was just that Zebus FC's Aloísio Sergipano managed to reach the ball for a save. 24 minutes into the match, Bruce Lee F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Corrêa came free, but Iker Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kamber Aktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Bruce Lee F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Majlind Fejzollari came free, but Iker Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bruce Lee F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zebus FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvinho Corrêa to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Eriberto Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zebus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruce Lee F.C. the free kick. In the 52nd minute, one of Zebus FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zebus FC. A collision led to Zebus FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Majlind Fejzollari hit a great ball. Germano Saldanha hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Hermínio Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zebus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zebus FC's Aloísio Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto do Nascimento in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamber Aktaş in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Yashin saved Bruce Lee F.C. from getting behind. Iker Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiaan Dijkman in the 65th minute of the match.
