After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Omid Kaulbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dr Lecter SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omid Kaulbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mauro Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes of play, Grêmio Bulls's Pedrão Prata made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Pere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedrão Prata's late challenge caught a Dr Lecter SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão Prata helped the player get up and apologised. Pedrão Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Henrique Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Omid Kaulbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Grêmio Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Mauro Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dr Lecter SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrão Prata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Prata in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoff Mullen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Geoff Mullen got a free kick in the 59th minute. Henrique Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Romero in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrão Prata in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Pere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Romulo Lehen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cosme Pere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grêmio Bulls made a substitution. Rowen Doherty replaced Romulo Lehen. Sebastião Tróia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Grêmio Bulls's Rowen Doherty got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Vokurka, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Henrique Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 74th minute. Dr Lecter SC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Grêmio Bulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Romero took the corner. The corner led Dr Lecter SC's Mauro Romero to fire away a dangerous shot which Henrique Prata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cosme Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Vokurka, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Andreas Vokurka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Pere was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 87th minute of play. Omid Kaulbach succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Grêmio Bulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Laércio Guedes scored to the left of an out of position Henrique Prata, making the score, 3-2. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Vokurka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
