Spectators: 8483 (Terracing: 6364, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) Olivedos's Abel de Godoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Sergipano having to make a save. 6 minutes into the match, Zebus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Godoi came free, but Aloísio Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aloísio Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 8th minute of the match. Yuri da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kamber Aktaş went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 23rd minute of play forced Zebus FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olivedos's Abel de Godoi in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zebus FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardinho Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Zebus FC's Hermínio Figueiredo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Yuri da Cunha but with some difficulty. Yuri da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kamber Aktaş in the 40th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Kamber Aktaş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yuri da Cunha. Kamber Aktaş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Corrêa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastiaan Dijkman in the 53rd minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Yuri da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio Sergipano was a little too slow when Abel de Godoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel de Godoi in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Sergipano saved Zebus FC from getting behind. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olivedos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermínio Figueiredo was slow to take the kick. During this time Zebus FC's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 80 in the game by Abel de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Aloísio Sergipano managed to make a qualified save. Zebus FC's players were relieved. After having played for 83 minutes, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zebus FC made a substitution. Rodrigo Azevedo replaced Silvinho Corrêa. After some careless play in the Olivedos defense, Rodrigo Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuri da Cunha. The Olivedos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuri da Cunha should have stopped the shot. Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamber Aktaş in the 94th minute of play. Aloísio Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Abel de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Zebus FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
