The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Eden Neuville made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Doriva Jacinto immediately put the ball in play. After 56 played minutes America Futebol Clube SP got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Chulapa. Jeronimo Rico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Sauveur having to make a save.
