The crowd rose to their feet as Laércio Penha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anderson Laguna. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute of the match Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a corner. SRP-Laguna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio de Medeiros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Heitor Ferreira to fire away a dangerous shot which Anderson Laguna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a corner. SRP-Laguna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio de Medeiros ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Davut İskenderoğlu at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of SRP-Laguna. 2-0. In the 17th minute Xu Le Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Maris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xu Le Shu might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickaël Maris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xu Le Shu ran back to his position shaking his head. Mickaël Maris came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by SRP-Laguna's Xu Le Shu. But to his dismay, Xu Le Shu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Mickaël Maris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emirşah Öktemer in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Laércio Penha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The audience was convinced that Laércio Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anderson Laguna was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Xu Le Shu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickaël Maris having to make a save. In the 39th minute Xu Le Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Maris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Rafael Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio de Medeiros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anderson Laguna. SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Heitor Ferreira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by M. Agus 董卓, made in the 46th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

SRP-Laguna's Deivid de Sena was substituted for Rafael Furtado. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xu Le Shu to strike the kick off in the second half. Mickaël Maris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Le Shu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. M. Agus 董卓 made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Emirşah Öktemer. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Penha in the 68th minute of play. Mickaël Maris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasier Crane in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the game M. Agus 董卓 made a throw-in which Deivid de Sena played forward. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Penha in the 80th minute of play. Anderson Laguna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Penha went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Anderson Laguna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Penha in the 88th minute of the match. SRP-Laguna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emirşah Öktemer in the 98th minute.
