Spectators: 8150 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 163) Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Enio Berger got a free kick in the 5th minute. Tomas Wallin made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Váldson Bittencourt. A collision led to G.E. Juventus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edgard Davids hit a great ball. Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Bezerra in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Fausto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Da Vinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Da Vinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Mendonça in the 17th minute of play. If Abelardo Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Tomas Wallin in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Enio Berger. A sloppy throw-in by Váldson Bittencourt in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Cordario De la Torre. With a little luck, Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença got control of the ball when Cordario De la Torre tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Fausto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Da Vinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Da Vinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Abelardo Bezerra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Naldo Proença, passed just outside the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Bezerra to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Raigo Vananurm could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Leonardo Da Vinci however easily saved by the left post. 54 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Da Vinci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raigo Vananurm. Scarlet Speedster were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Krzynowek took the corner. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Fausto Mendonça got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leonardo Da Vinci was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 75 minutes, Abelardo Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Giuseppe Paes was substituted for Don Lalo. In the 83rd minute, Fausto Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's attentive Enio Berger managed to snatch the ball when Tomas Wallin made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Bezerra in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naldo Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the G.E. Juventus FSCMZ defense, Fausto Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Da Vinci. The G.E. Juventus FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Da Vinci should have stopped the shot. The Scarlet Speedster players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
