Jerônimo Vergílio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. João Carlos Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Cavalera went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cavalera came free, but João Carlos Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Zimmermann in the 18th minute. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Fernandes in the 20th minute of the match. João Carlos Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Cavalera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Cavalera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Carlos Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Jerônimo Vergílio made a great header on Ogro F.C.'s corner, it was just that Futuros FC's João Carlos Andrade managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes into the match, Krakaca Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alysson Rezende. Ogro F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krakaca Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marcos Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alysson Rezende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Mangini replaced Adelino Antunes. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Smith in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Beto Smith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Smith in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alysson Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute of the game Mai Xun Kang made a throw-in which Afonso Pinhal played forward. In the 63rd minute Igor Cavalera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Igor Cavalera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Carlos Andrade was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. João Carlos Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Zimmermann in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Futuros FC booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Igor Cavalera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krakaca Neto in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Futuros FC were awarded a corner. Adhemar Furtado went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Afonso Pinhal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ogro F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
