ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by ADM Taquaras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Unax Mudarra was slow to take the kick. During this time ATHLETICO PRaiano's players had a chance to rest. 18 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 21 in the game by Denílson Tepedino from a close distance when the talented Rodriguinho Sousa managed to make a qualified save. ATHLETICO PRaiano's players were relieved. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 47th minute ATHLETICO PRaiano were awarded a corner. Unax Mudarra went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

57 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Quinto came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miki Moco got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Denílson Tepedino. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno got control of the ball when Deilmison van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodriguinho Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Áron Bódog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Nestor Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rodriguinho Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ADM Taquaras fans cheered their team off the field, for while ATHLETICO PRaiano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
