Hristofor Borchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Rallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daşdämir Albändiyev during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Capibaribe Stars's Daşdämir Albändiyev got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thomás Toscano was a little too slow when Pasha Datsiuk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-1. Hristofor Borchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Sousa went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pasha Datsiuk in the 26th minute of play. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AS Pikachuzim! After a rather tough play, Capibaribe Stars's Denislav Mesalski got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Santos Rallo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomás Toscano skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute AS Pikachuzim were awarded a corner. Santos Rallo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Santos Rallo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano did a great save. Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 37th minute of play. AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Sousa to make the kick off. Facundo Campa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save AS Pikachuzim from getting a goal against them. Daniel Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hristofor Borchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev got control of the ball when Daniel Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hristofor Borchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Daniel Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capibaribe Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hristofor Borchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Capibaribe Stars eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
