Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. DeMarcus Bernard started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Tavio during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If DeMarcus Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cristobal Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Equipo Abandonado's goalkeeper Cristobal Truylos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Bemabe. After a rather tough play, Abel's Tomas Eli got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gonzalo Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeMarcus Bernard in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Abel booed when Equipo Abandonado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Bemabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Truylos having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Abel's Haroldo Bemabe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristobal Truylos. Cristobal Truylos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Roque Sandaili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Truylos having to interfere. Mauro Barros's late challenge caught a Equipo Abandonado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Abel's Mauro Barros got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Haroldo Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Eli made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Equipo Abandonado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Orlondo to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Oscar Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Abel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Haroldo Bemabe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Truylos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cristobal Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Bemabe in the 67th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Abel got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Guerrero. In the 73rd match minute, Equipo Abandonado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Eron to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Oscar Eron notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Abel's Gonzalo Sindo. Gonzalo Sindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 played minutes, Equipo Abandonado's Amancio Chabier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonzalo Sindo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Equipo Abandonado reached it. 87 minutes into the match, Tomas Eli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Truylos. Equipo Abandonado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Eli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 90th minute of the game, Cirilo Igon landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Equipo Abandonado's Inocencio Haimar got a free kick in the 92nd minute. DeMarcus Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gonzalo Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
