53 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Lorenzo de Almagro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Ondino was slow to take the kick. During this time Bigand AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalie and right to Ab Pool. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Lorenzo de Almagro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Victoriano Txartiko was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Faustino Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Faustino Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şafak Taygar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Teodosio Pere with Gaudencio Palben as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Faustino Markel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şafak Taygar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Modesto Olayo's late challenge caught a Bigand AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Olayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Almagro getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Modesto Olayo hit a great ball. In the 90th match minute, Bigand AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Ondino to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo de Almagro played a much better game than Bigand AFC and deserved their victory. The Bigand AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
