Modesto Olayo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Sustrai. Dario Sustrai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lisandro Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Esteve Bibiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Frechoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DEPORTIVO CALIMOCHO's zone, Faustino Markel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Sustrai came out of the goal and Faustino Markel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to DEPORTIVO CALIMOCHO getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hernan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Vladimiro Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Modesto Olayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Victor Hartz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DEPORTIVO CALIMOCHO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Almagro the free kick. Victor Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Dario Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Olayo in the 38th minute of the match. Modesto Olayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Modesto Olayo made a precise shot to the right of Dario Sustrai. DEPORTIVO CALIMOCHO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vladimiro Abadie made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Txartiko struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Dario Sustrai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo de Almagro. Dario Burutzagi hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Dario Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Pere in the 60th minute. Modesto Olayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Sustrai having to interfere. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 81 played minutes DEPORTIVO CALIMOCHO got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Rubio. Dario Sustrai was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Modesto Olayo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Olayo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 94th minute, San Lorenzo de Almagro's Modesto Olayo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dario Sustrai. Dario Sustrai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. San Lorenzo de Almagro played a much better game than DEPORTIVO CALIMOCHO and deserved their victory. The DEPORTIVO CALIMOCHO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
