Loreto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Ongile was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Virgilio Ugutz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Loreto FC's Gaston Rumaldo. But to his dismay, Gaston Rumaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. CACTUSIS were furious when Fidel Umea was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to CACTUSIS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fidel Umea hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Constantino Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Wasyl Nowakowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loreto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Aragones in the 25th minute of play forced CACTUSIS's goalkeeper Virgilio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Wasyl Nowakowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Ugutz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 30 minutes into the match, CACTUSIS's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Rumaldo came free, but Virgilio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, CACTUSIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Ixona to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Aragones in the 43rd minute of play. Virgilio Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Loreto FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wasyl Nowakowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Benjamin Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Ugutz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Constantino Nayely. Esteve Cordarell charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Cordarell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 57 minutes into the match, CACTUSIS's Apolo Ixona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Lamberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Wasyl Nowakowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Virgilio Ugutz to make any attempt to save it. Baldomiro Leizarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Nowakowski in the 71st minute of play forced CACTUSIS's goalkeeper Virgilio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaşar Nuri Yaygır made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arturo Aragones. 77 minutes into the match, CACTUSIS's goalkeeper Virgilio Ugutz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Aragones. Gavino Filipo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Angel Lamberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CACTUSIS. When Evaristo Sabino fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loreto FC's protests and gave Evaristo Sabino a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Virgilio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Nowakowski in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of CACTUSIS booed when Loreto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Kusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Evelio Ongile came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the CACTUSIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Ongile couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Loreto FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
