Blas Corderall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Kaczanek in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Pedroso got free with Blas Corderall in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute of the match, Lucio Pedroso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Blas Corderall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Valentin Abaunza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, one of Saguier AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saguier AFC. The goalkeeper, Blas Corderall, was totally fooled by Club Deportivo San Juan's Lucio Pedroso, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Saguier AFC's zone, Juan Carlos Salguero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Corderall came out of the goal and Juan Carlos Salguero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blas Corderall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Pedroso in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Lucio Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Corderall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saguier AFC's Blas Corderall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Pedroso in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Gaspar Ferran notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Saguier AFC's Blas Corderall. After 47 minutes, Aquilino Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saguier AFC and the Club Deportivo San Juan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Deportivo San Juan booed when Saguier AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Duarte in the 78th minute of play forced Club Deportivo San Juan's goalkeeper Lino Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Pedroso in the 86th managed to get into a good position. Blas Corderall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 played minutes Saguier AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Cidro. The audience was convinced that Lucio Pedroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Corderall was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Club Deportivo San Juan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
