Correa's Astor Savier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Correa from getting a goal against them. After 12 minutes of play, Correa's Nereo Aguirre made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Fortun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chacarita Juniors's Aurelio Fortun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Roldanillo in the 16th minute of play. Nereo Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute, Sever Cazacu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Savier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 28 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Mon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacarita Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Correa the free kick. Ezequiel Mon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Abecia came free, but Aurelio Fortun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Correa's Manuel Abecia made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Fortun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute Dorin Badoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Primitivo Calvino made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Fortun. Chacarita Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Thanks to some nice moves Sever Cazacu could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Astor Savier however easily saved by the left post. After the first half Correa were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sever Cazacu made a kick off. Sergio Piearres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Astor Savier. Correa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Dorin Badoi notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Correa's Astor Savier. Astor Savier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Badoi in the 62nd minute of play forced Correa's goalkeeper Astor Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chacarita Juniors's Aurelio Fortun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Juniors from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute of the match Sergio Piearres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Savier skillfully saved the ball. Sever Cazacu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Astor Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Correa's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Cazacu came free, but Astor Savier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Cazacu in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Sergio Piearres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Savier skillfully saved the ball. Dorin Badoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Savier having to interfere. Aurelio Fortun was a little too slow when Joaquin Roldanillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 3-4. The Correa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
