When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Euloxu made a kick off. After 65 minutes, Fabian Paulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Paragua Venenoso and the Club Atletico San Martin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Fabian Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amancio Firmo got free with Mauro Sayveon in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
