Victor Cuartio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Roano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes, Diego Tipi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POCASPULGAS and the Central Larroque E.R players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diego Tipi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Omar Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Roano got free with Jorge Fidencio in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind POCASPULGAS's goalkeeper Jorge Fidencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ambrosio Quinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jorge Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Quinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Fidencio having to interfere. Omar Reyes charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Reyes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Central Larroque E.R's Omar Reyes got a free kick in the 45th minute. After recieving a nice pass, POCASPULGAS's Danilo Millan tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Flor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Diego Tipi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 55th minute Ambrosio Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Flor's late challenge caught a Central Larroque E.R's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Quinton in the 76th minute of play forced POCASPULGAS's goalkeeper Jorge Fidencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Central Larroque E.R was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Maxin to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jorge Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Fidencio came out of the goal and Ambrosio Quinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ambrosio Quinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
