After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Victorio Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abbott FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Roland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Artizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Pierres in the 7th minute of the match. Aquiles Artizar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Vistruario in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Victorio Roland took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aquiles Artizar to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Vistruario got free with Aquiles Artizar in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes, Gervasio Nardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreal and the Abbott FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Barreal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Nardo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Barreal's zone, Victorio Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Artizar came out of the goal and Victorio Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Victorio Roland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquiles Artizar. Victorio Roland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Kepa got free with Aquiles Artizar in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Barreal's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Pierres came free, but Aquiles Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorio Roland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aquiles Artizar. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Barreal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Juan Vistruario scored to the left of an out of position Aquiles Artizar, making the score, 4-0. Barreal's Aquiles Artizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Barreal from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Roland in the 36th minute of the match. Juan Vistruario's late challenge caught a Barreal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Vistruario helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barreal booed when Abbott FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Abbott FC's Aquiles Artizar threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romeo Pierres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Victorio Roland took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Aquiles Artizar to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Roland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Gorbea hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Juan Vistruario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Artizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Barreal's Aquiles Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Roland in the 64th minute of play. Severo Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Barreal defense, Anier Kepa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Artizar. The Barreal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Artizar should have stopped the shot. Barreal's Feyyaz Göktürk got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Artizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Abbott FC booed when Barreal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Artizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Kepa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Marcial Pes scored 9-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Artizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Anier Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
