Cristobal Nafarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gonzalo Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Nafarroa having to interfere. Cristobal Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Silbestre in the 21st minute of the match. Zeledon Silbestre took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Nafarroa. Cristobal Nafarroa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Honorio Euloxu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Silbestre in the 27th minute of play forced Los Piojos F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristobal Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Celso Quinito suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Silbestre during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristobal Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Gonzo in the 34th minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match, Gonzalo Barea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristobal Nafarroa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mauro Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Nola was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Piojos F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Gonzo in the 60th minute of play forced Los Piojos F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristobal Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Nafarroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Nafarroa came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Falkner's Zeledon Silbestre. But to his dismay, Zeledon Silbestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Los Piojos F.C.'s Cristobal Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Barea in the 88th minute of play. Zeledon Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Zeledon Silbestre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Cristobal Nafarroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 97 in the game by Zeledon Silbestre from a close distance when the talented Cristobal Nafarroa managed to make a qualified save. Los Piojos F.C.'s players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Club Falkner left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Piojos F.C..
