After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mateo Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huinganco's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Piearres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Madrejón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Henry came free, but Samuel Piearres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th match minute, Huinganco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Calvino to maneuver through the defense. When Benigno Ireno fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huinganco's protests and gave Benigno Ireno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Huinganco's Benigno Ireno got a free kick in the 16th minute. Samuel Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Henry in the 19th minute of the match. Mateo Henry took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Piearres. Samuel Piearres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tomás Herena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cordeara having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Hector Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Piearres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Mateo Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Madrejón FC's Tomás Herena in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Madrejón FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huinganco were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Cordarryl to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Herena in the 59th minute of play forced Huinganco's goalkeeper Maximo Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Alonso hit a great ball. Maximo Cordeara came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Madrejón FC's Tomás Herena. But to his dismay, Tomás Herena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Madrejón FC's goalkeeper Samuel Piearres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Madrejón FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hector Cordarryl 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. After some careless play in the Huinganco defense, Simon Beltza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Cordeara. The Huinganco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Cordeara should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Tadeo Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Everardo Goyo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Huinganco's Maximo Cordeara did a great save. Madrejón FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Huinganco for a fine match.
