Luisito Mercurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind ElchinoTeam's goalkeeper Luisito Mercurio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Eleuterio Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Gendolla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. ElchinoTeam's Dalmacio Weterio got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.C Milan's Melquiades Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Weterio in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute Gaétan Rooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Dalmacio Weterio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Enekoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. The audience was convinced that Dalmacio Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Enekoitz was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ElchinoTeam fully deserved thier win.
