Eustacio Fidensio's late challenge caught a Viejo Expreso Patagonico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Fidensio helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Piojoso F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Fidensio. Freddy Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, Piojoso F.C.'s Godofredo Lixandro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Precioso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Lixandro in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Precioso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Fidensio in the 25th minute of play forced Viejo Expreso Patagonico's goalkeeper Maximo Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Lixandro's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Godofredo Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Benigno Fernanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viejo Expreso Patagonico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Viejo Expreso Patagonico's Maximo Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Lixandro in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Eustacio Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Viejo Expreso Patagonico defense, Freddy Roldanillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Precioso. The Viejo Expreso Patagonico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Precioso should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Godofredo Lixandro made the kick off in the second half. Freddy Roldanillo in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximo Precioso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 55 minutes into the match, Viejo Expreso Patagonico's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Lixandro came free, but Maximo Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Viejo Expreso Patagonico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Norino to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Precioso was a little too slow when Eustacio Fidensio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-4. Godofredo Lixandro struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Maximo Precioso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piojoso F.C.. Piojoso F.C.'s Freddy Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godofredo Lixandro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximo Precioso came out and tried to block the shot, but Godofredo Lixandro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 76th minute. Eustacio Fidensio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Maximo Precioso made a huge save. With a little luck, Viejo Expreso Patagonico's Maximo Precioso got control of the ball when Freddy Roldanillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximo Precioso came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Piojoso F.C.'s Eustacio Fidensio. But to his dismay, Eustacio Fidensio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Lixandro in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Precioso saved Viejo Expreso Patagonico from getting behind. In the 96th minute Godofredo Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Viejo Expreso Patagonico fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piojoso F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
