But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stef Vanherzeele couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Jairo Chale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ambargasta AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Jairo Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambargasta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Chale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Stef Vanherzeele took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Isidro Artaldo to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Stef Vanherzeele made a precise shot to the right of Isidro Artaldo. colon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 32nd minute, Stef Vanherzeele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Chale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Isidro Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Ambargasta AFC's Gilberto Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Artaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 43rd minute Ambargasta AFC were awarded a corner. Erubiel Corderro went to the cornerflag to take it. Isidro Artaldo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Benedicto Santana sent off a good shot on target.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Chale in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Artaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, Ambargasta AFC's goalkeeper Paulo Lehen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Gauargi. Paulo Lehen made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Vladimiro Gauargi sent off a good shot on target. Isidro Artaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Reyes in the 72nd minute of the match. Erubiel Corderro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 81st match minute, colon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Lalla to maneuver through the defense. Stef Vanherzeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benedicto Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Artaldo having to interfere. Isidro Artaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Chale's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Ernesto Osorio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Lehen came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Osorio slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 98th minute. Ambargasta AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
