In the 12th minute Cipriano Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ildefonso Orlondo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the b 8 hundido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Orlondo couldn't finish the play. b 8 hundido's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Salvador Pero scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Menendo, making the score, 1-0. In the 25th minute, Team OFF's Roman Umea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Virgilio Menendo. Virgilio Menendo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, b 8 hundido's Cipriano Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabricio Rios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Roque Arano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for b 8 hundido. Rigoberto Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Rios having to interfere. b 8 hundido's Cipriano Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Umea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Virgilio Menendo made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Cortez to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes b 8 hundido got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Orlondo. In the 57th minute of the match Sebastian Montel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Menendo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Virgilio Menendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Venceslas in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, b 8 hundido's Evelio Tartalo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ildefonso Orlondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cipriano Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the b 8 hundido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Cortez couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Augusto Venceslas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave b 8 hundido the free kick. After a rather tough play, Team OFF's Augusto Venceslas got a free kick in the 77th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 81st minute, but Fabricio Rios got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Team OFF hanging dry this time. Ildefonso Orlondo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. b 8 hundido's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cipriano Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cipriano Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
