Edgard Paulin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Wilder Hund's Fabio Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Dolcet in the 58th minute of play. Edgardo Thomas might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Evis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Thomas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edgardo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Edgardo Thomas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Vecchia Signora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Wilder Hund's zone, Edgardo Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Evis came out of the goal and Edgardo Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Thomas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Evis saved Wilder Hund from getting behind. If Edgardo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Edgardo Thomas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Fabio Evis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Edgardo Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edgardo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Vecchia Signora had played much better football throughout.
