The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Viale AFC's Ruben Gai got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Iker Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Minko Trichkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Seme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Oliviero having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Seme got free with Baldomero Oliviero in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Thomas in the 41st minute of play forced Viale AFC's goalkeeper Minko Trichkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minko Trichkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Viale AFC's Jimeno Mero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jimeno Mero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Viale AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jimeno Mero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Viale AFC!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Barea was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Viale AFC's goalkeeper Minko Trichkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Amaya. Viale AFC's Minko Trichkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Viale AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of La Vecchia Signora booed when Viale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viale AFC's Minko Trichkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Thomas in the 77th minute of play. Enrique Maties charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Maties the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viale AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Viale AFC:s Minko Trichkov showed great skill when he stopped David Ciano:s penalty. Edgardo Thomas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded La Vecchia Signora left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Viale AFC.
