Cristo Cesario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Deportivo Atomico's Anier Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Benitez in the 15th minute of play. David Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Gaspard having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Ballesteros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Lano to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Ballesteros AFC's Dante Lano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anier Gaspard. Anier Gaspard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Ballesteros AFC booed when Deportivo Atomico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dante Lano came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ballesteros AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Lano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Lano in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo Atomico's goalkeeper Anier Gaspard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Cebrian's late challenge caught a Deportivo Atomico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Cebrian helped the player get up and apologised. Anier Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Atomico's Efrain Milian got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Lano notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Deportivo Atomico's Anier Gaspard. Anier Gaspard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Benitez scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Gaspard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ixaka having to interfere. Rodolfo Lano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dante Lano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Gaspard was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dante Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballesteros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Lano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Gaspard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Atomico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ballesteros AFC.
