If David Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saladillo's Esteve Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Lonzo in the 22nd minute of play. Esteve Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Ur in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Petri to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Ur came free, but Esteve Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Real Madrid CF's Atilano Paulin got control of the ball when David Piarres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Erasmo Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Pacifico having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Sidoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saladillo the free kick. Clodoveo Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Saladillo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Madrid CF were winning 0-1.

Esteve Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Lonzo in the 52nd minute of play. Erasmo Ur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Lonzo got free with Esteve Pacifico in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
