With a left leg Rolando Rito saved Collagasta from getting behind. Rolando Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Eguerdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Aquiles Eguerdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Rito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Eguerdi ran back to his position shaking his head. The Collagasta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Makallé were winning 0-1.

58 minutes into the match, Collagasta's Joaquin Gaitano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Evangelista narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
