Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blas Gil kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Gil in the 3rd minute of play forced Yapeyú FC's goalkeeper Leonides Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Yapeyú FC booed when Receptoría AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Ortzi came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Verner Eikemo could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Ortzi in the 16th minute of play forced Receptoría AFC's goalkeeper Verner Eikemo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Jaime Espiridion fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Verner Eikemo, passed just outside the right post. Jaime Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Verner Eikemo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Receptoría AFC's Verner Eikemo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Herrera in the 21st minute of play. Blas Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Rexino having to interfere. Higinio Indartsu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, one of Yapeyú FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Verner Eikemo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Herrera in the 43rd minute of play. Blas Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Verner Eikemo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oscar Herrera came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Yapeyú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Herrera couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Receptoría AFC's Edelmiro Baladi got a free kick in the 64th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Leonides Rexino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Jaime Espiridion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Verner Eikemo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The Yapeyú FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Yapeyú FC's Jaime Espiridion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Verner Eikemo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Herrera in the 88th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Receptoría AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
