Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gómez FC's Francisco Hermon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Gómez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Flores to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gómez FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lázaro Flores hit a great ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gómez FC's goalkeeper Arturo Cutberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arturo Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Frisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes, Lucas Umea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gómez FC and the Ingas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Gómez FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Umea. Zeledon Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Libertad was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Francisco Hermon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Hermon really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Zeledon Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Americo Frisco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Cutberto. Gómez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Americo Frisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gómez FC's Lucas Umea got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Cipriano Mendez from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Delmiro Libertad's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Frisco to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Francisco Hermon made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Libertad. Ingas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The Gómez FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Gómez FC's Santiago Llorienzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santiago Llorienzo's late challenge caught a Ingas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Llorienzo helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Gómez FC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Llorienzo. Americo Frisco took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Cutberto. Arturo Cutberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. If Lucas Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Hermon scored 5-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Libertad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Americo Frisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingas AFC's Delmiro Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Hermon in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Carolo Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gómez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Muc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gómez FC fully deserved thier win.
