In the 4th minute of the match Nestor Hitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Cutberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicasio Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Arturo Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gómez FC's Arturo Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Gómez FC from getting a goal against them. Tobias Nastasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Arturo Cutberto made a huge save. Arturo Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tobias Nastasio sent off a good shot on target. Damaso Giro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Astor Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gómez FC's Francisco Hermon in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macabi Mza's goalie prevented a goal. Serafino Lobo's late challenge caught a Macabi Mza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Lobo helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Gómez FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Lobo. After 22 played minutes Gómez FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Hermon. A collision led to Gómez FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Francisco Hermon hit a great ball. Francisco Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Batista having to interfere. Cássio Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gómez FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alberto Bembe hit a great ball. Francisco Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Batista having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Lázaro Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Batista. Macabi Mza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 45 minutes, Lucas Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gómez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Umea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Gómez FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Hermon made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Gómez FC's Santiago Llorienzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Cássio Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes, Macabi Mza's Jeronimo Palban shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arturo Cutberto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Macabi Mza reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Weterio in the 67th minute of play forced Gómez FC's goalkeeper Arturo Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Santiago Llorienzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gómez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macabi Mza the free kick. The supporters of Macabi Mza booed when Gómez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Hermon got free with Cássio Batista in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicasio Weterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Cutberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Nicasio Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Hitz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jeronimo Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gómez FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Macabi Mza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Llorienzo took the corner. Gómez FC's Santiago Llorienzo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cássio Batista in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arturo Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Weterio in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gómez FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
