Presidiarios Futbol Club's Jairo Unax got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Romeo Ixaka made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Beila. Gimnasia MZA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia MZA's Emilio Ebardo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ivan Beila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Unax went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Albano Harriet with Luisito Veremundo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Albino Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Cresenciano in the 61st minute of the match. Presidiarios Futbol Club's Albino Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Cresenciano in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Jairo Unax ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Beila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Robustiano Rodas got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Romeo Ixaka. Gimnasia MZA's Ivan Beila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Gimnasia MZA from getting a goal against them.
