Maximo Gauekos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Fernando Suarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alvaro Estevon charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Estevon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pulga F.C.'s Alvaro Estevon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Maximo Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fernando Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leandro Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Gaueko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fernando Suarez made a huge save. After 39 minutes of play, Retiro FC's Maximo Gaueko made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Suarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Saturnino Elazar hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leandro Seguinus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Suarez was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Maximo Gaueko sped through Pulga F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Suarez. In the 68th minute, Roman Havier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pulga F.C.'s Fernando Suarez didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Pulga F.C.'s zone, Leandro Seguinus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Suarez came out of the goal and Leandro Seguinus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Maximo Gaueko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pulga F.C.'s Fernando Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cesar Lixandro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Pulga F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Lixandro couldn't finish the play. Pulga F.C.'s Fernando Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Gaueko in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Seguinus in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Suarez saved Pulga F.C. from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Maximo Gaueko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Suarez was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Maximo Gaueko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Retiro FC's Leandro Seguinus got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Gaueko ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 95 minutes, Leandro Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Seguinus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Retiro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pulga F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
