The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Guillerme got free with Adolfo Sal in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Geronimo Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Dorio in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Marcelino Dorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Sal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Adolfo Sal made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Roberto Cayo sent off a good shot on target. Marcelino Dorio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adolfo Sal came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelino Dorio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Miro made a kick off. Roberto Cayo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Primitivo Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. REY's Adolfo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cayo in the 60th minute of play. Cristobal Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Augusto Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Faustino Guillerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, REY's Geronimo Garaona tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adolfo Sal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
