Aquilino Frantzess short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Eustaquio Bilbo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Campo Grande FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rogelio Fortun 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Santiago Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Bilbo having to interfere. Filomeno Senen charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Senen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aquilino Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eustaquio Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Frantzes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Eustaquio Bilbo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Rigoberto Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campo Grande FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Gudesteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Venceslao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Atlanta booed when Campo Grande FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlanta's Rogelio Fortun got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Aquilino Frantzes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 35 in the game by Aquilino Frantzes from a close distance when the talented Eustaquio Bilbo managed to make a qualified save. Campo Grande FC's players were relieved. After 42 minutes of play, Atlanta's Aquilino Frantzes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Bilbo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Aquilino Frantzes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Eustaquio Bilbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlanta. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlanta had played much better football throughout.
