The supporters of spectro booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Conrado Mikeldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Llorian. The crowd rose to their feet as spectro's Feliberto Urtungo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conrado Mikeldi. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. Conrado Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Urtungo in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Urtungo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Mikeldi saved Candelaria FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Conrado Mikeldi got control of the ball when Arnulfo Llorian tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquilino Gilen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, spectro's goalkeeper Vasco Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Mogel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Mogel during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Mogel. With 59 minutes on the clock, Fernan Montay commited a dangerous tackle. In the 72nd minute, Arnulfo Llorian made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Mikeldi. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Conrado Mikeldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Txindoki during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Candelaria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Mikeldi should have stopped the shot. Vinicio Txindoki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Elvio Gudesteo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Arnulfo Llorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Mikeldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Urtungo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. If Arnulfo Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that spectro were the better team. spectro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
