Roderick Wijnterp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Bernard having to make a save. Feliciano Benvide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Domingos Bernard made a huge save. Domingos Bernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderick Wijnterp, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Roderick Wijnterp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Bernard having to interfere. Roderick Wijnterp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Feliciano Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sait Sergen in the 28th minute of play. Roderick Wijnterp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Domingos Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind EmpomadoresFC's goalkeeper Domingos Bernard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iglesia's Flavio Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Inocente in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roderick Wijnterp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, EmpomadoresFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roderick Wijnterp came free, but Domingos Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Tano's late challenge caught a Iglesia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Tano helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Tano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes EmpomadoresFC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Pirro. After a rather tough play, EmpomadoresFC's Guaberto Chaime got a free kick in the 58th minute. Roderick Wijnterp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Bernard having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in EmpomadoresFC's zone, Feliciano Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Bernard came out of the goal and Feliciano Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roderick Wijnterp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Bernard having to interfere. EmpomadoresFC's Domingos Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roderick Wijnterp in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, EmpomadoresFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Chaime to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Roderick Wijnterp sped through EmpomadoresFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingos Bernard. In the 74th play minute Americo Rius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Flavio Ursino. 1-1. Mauro Daunte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Ursino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Inocente in the 83rd minute of play. Roderick Wijnterp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Domingos Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roderick Wijnterp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Bernard was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Iglesia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
