When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Emiliano Jobo sped through EmpomadoresFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingos Bernard. Emiliano Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Yavuz Vefakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Bernard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Chago hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, EmpomadoresFC's Gregorio Inocente got a free kick in the 47th minute. After some careless play in the EmpomadoresFC defense, Emiliano Jobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Bernard. The EmpomadoresFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Bernard should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Barracas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EmpomadoresFC throughout the match.
