The supporters of Kamikazes Rugby Club booed when Tambo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andresito Chávez struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gregorio Gipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kamikazes Rugby Club. Damaso Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Sørdal having to interfere. Remigio Quentin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Andresito Chávez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tambo FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Victor Balendin hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Tambo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andresito Chávez came free, but Gregorio Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Isias charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Isias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Andresito Chávez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kamikazes Rugby Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Andresito Chávez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Andresito Chávez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kamikazes Rugby Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Andresito Chávez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Sadurni got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Remigio Furman. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andresito Chávez made a kick off. Jarl Sørdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Inge, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Luciano Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Sørdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andresito Chávez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Gipuzkoa having to interfere. Tambo FC's Gregorio Gipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Tambo FC from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Amato in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute Damaso Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Sørdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andresito Chávez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Gipuzkoa having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Juan Amato rounded Tambo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. With a little luck, Tambo FC's Gregorio Gipuzkoa got control of the ball when Andresito Chávez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Amato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Gipuzkoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Derwin in the 92nd minute of play forced Kamikazes Rugby Club's goalkeeper Jarl Sørdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamikazes Rugby Club played a much better game than Tambo FC and deserved their victory. The Tambo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
