The Humboldt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Celso Erroman succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 10 minutes into the match, Alter Ego's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Erroman came free, but Clodoveo Enmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Celso Erroman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Enmanuel. Alter Ego's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Erroman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Clodoveo Enmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Matxin in the 17th minute of the match. Fernan Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Clodoveo Enmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Matxin in the 21st minute of play. Clodoveo Enmanuel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. It was beautiful to see Humboldt's Celso Erroman in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Clodoveo Enmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Erroman in the 30th minute of the match. Clodoveo Enmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Erroman in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Erroman in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Enmanuel saved Alter Ego from getting behind. Clodoveo Enmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Erroman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Enzo Burgnich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Enmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Aquilino Matxin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Enmanuel. Alter Ego's Clodoveo Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Matxin in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Humboldt were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Burgnich to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bent Damskier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Alter Ego's Clodoveo Enmanuel got control of the ball when Enzo Burgnich tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celso Erroman charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Erroman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celso Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Antonio Casado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Humboldt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alter Ego the free kick. After 58 played minutes Humboldt got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Casado. After recieving a nice pass, Alter Ego's Gerardo Gorka tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Alter Ego's goalkeeper Clodoveo Enmanuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Burgnich. The supporters of Humboldt booed when Alter Ego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Prudencio Chayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
