Mark Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Florin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Eleazar in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Isidro Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Florin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Ekber Periz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.A.M and the Quitilipi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elias Montrell lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 15 minutes into the game, one of S.A.M:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hilario Florin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Montez in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Quitilipi AFC booed when S.A.M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekber Periz didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.A.M's Hilario Florin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Bertin in the 31st minute of play. Hilario Florin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Atauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, S.A.M's Hilario Florin got control of the ball when Domingos Eleazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, S.A.M's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Montez came free, but Hilario Florin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Florin having to make a save. Arnulfo Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Hilario Florin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Eleazar in the 44th minute. S.A.M's Hilario Florin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Montez in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Eleazar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eliseo Ado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Tuste was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Mark Axelsson fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.A.M's protests and gave Mark Axelsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, S.A.M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Quitilipi AFC's Norberto James was substituted for Domingos Eleazar. After a rather tough play, S.A.M's Mark Axelsson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Quitilipi AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Johan Söderqwist hit a great ball. Hilario Florin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 played minutes, Quitilipi AFC's Uriel Chago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hilario Florin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quitilipi AFC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Narciso Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quitilipi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Atauri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Florin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Braulio Bertin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of S.A.M's Hilario Florin. Hilario Florin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
