The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isidoro Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Teofilo Mingo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Orlondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Cebo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Teofilo Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Javier Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yerbas's Elvio Cebo got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Ciriaco Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ciriaco Orlondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Mingo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Orlondo in the 28th minute of play forced Yerbas's goalkeeper Teofilo Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Celipe struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Teofilo Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macio. 34 minutes into the match, Yerbas's Elvio Cebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Hodei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Orlondo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Mingo saved Yerbas from getting behind. Javier Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Yerbas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Evelio Donzel hit a great ball. Teofilo Mingo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Macio's Ciriaco Orlondo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Elvio Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes Yerbas got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Bernaldo. 56 minutes into the game, Macio's Ciriaco Orlondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Mingo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 67 minutes, Javier Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Celipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 71 in the game by Javier Celipe from a close distance when the talented Teofilo Mingo managed to make a qualified save. Yerbas's players were relieved. Victor Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Nicanor Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Hodei having to interfere. Macio's Ciriaco Orlondo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Orlondos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Teofilo Mingo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Macio fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Yerbas. Fernan Ieltxu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Hodei. 1-2. Ciriaco Orlondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Teofilo Mingo made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciriaco Orlondo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teofilo Mingo. That made the score 1-3 in the 96 minute of play.
