The Zafiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Erasmo Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Bonadona in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Sotil saved Hay Equipo from getting behind. Victor Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mariano Miliano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Sotil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Lucado in the 23rd minute. Hay Equipo's Victor Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Bonadona in the 25th minute of play. Victor Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Zafiro FC booed when Hay Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, Zafiro FC's Severino Gorka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Sotil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zafiro FC reached it. Lucio Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Iker Celio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Victor Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zafiro FC. In the 42nd minute Ciriaco Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciriaco Bonadona to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Hay Equipo defense, Ciriaco Bonadona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Sotil. The Hay Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Sotil should have stopped the shot. Victor Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Bonadona in the 59th minute of the match. Hay Equipo's Lucio Blai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hernan Ramond in the 60 minute of the game. When Erasmo Policarpio came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Hay Equipo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Policarpio couldn't finish the play. Ciriaco Bonadona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Sotil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Ciriaco Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Bonadona in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Severino Gorka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Sotil was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With an all-out effort, Hay Equipo's Mariano Miliano threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erasmo Policarpio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Freddy Lawrence lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hay Equipo! Victor Sotil went to the wrong direction when Iker Celio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Medero got free with Mariano Miliano in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 minutes, Mauro Lucado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zafiro FC and the Hay Equipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Zafiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Lucado to maneuver through the defense.
