Julio Tancredo came out of the goal and Jimeno Rocendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes Pumas FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Abalos. In the 17th minute, Ladislao Normando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Constancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Barrancas's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Cresconio came free, but Hector Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Sanchez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benedicto Nazario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Barrancas's Hector Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Cresconio in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Nazario in the 67th minute of play forced Barrancas's goalkeeper Hector Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pumas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Nazario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Larpe to maneuver through the defense. Pumas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
