Spectators: 7094 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciriaco Bonadona took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Bartolo Abalos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pumas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zafiro FC the free kick. After 2 played minutes Pumas FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Abalos. If Ciriaco Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Benicio Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Zafiro FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Zafiro FC's Ciriaco Bonadona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ciriaco Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Julio Tancredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zafiro FC. Mariano Miliano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Bonadona in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Tancredo saved Pumas FC from getting behind. Saverio Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Ramond charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Ramond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquin Lapurdi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Saverio Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pumas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Miliano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ciriaco Bonadona put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Tancredo. The supporters of Zafiro FC booed when Pumas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Julio Tancredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zafiro FC. Benicio Barea might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Tancredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benicio Barea ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Pumas FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bartolo Abalos hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Ciriaco Bonadona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Tancredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Pumas FC defense, Joaquin Lapurdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Tancredo. The Pumas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Tancredo should have stopped the shot.

When Pumas FC's Benedicto Nazario in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zafiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. 55 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Bonadona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Tancredo. Ciriaco Bonadona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Ciriaco Bonadonas short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Julio Tancredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Tancredo was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Ciriaco Bonadona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciriaco Bonadona really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. With his leg Julio Tancredo managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Zafiro FC's Ciriaco Bonadona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 67 played minutes Pumas FC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Cresconio. Zafiro FC's Ciriaco Bonadona got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bartolo Abalos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. After having played for 71 minutes, Mauro Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zafiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Lucado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Eusko during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zafiro FC booed when Pumas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74th play minutes Ciriaco Bonadona shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Julio Tancredo and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Ciriaco Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zafiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Bonadona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Severino Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zafiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Gorka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. Julio Tancredo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. After having played for 89 minutes, Ciriaco Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zafiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Bonadona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Gorka in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pumas FC's zone, Ciriaco Bonadona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Tancredo came out of the goal and Ciriaco Bonadona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play Pumas FC's Hilario Eusko was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th match minute, Pumas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Eusko to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Pumas FC's goalkeeper Julio Tancredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Bonadona. The Pumas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zafiro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
