After 9 played minutes Nelson got a freekick which was hit by Dario Selatse. Nelson's Erubiel Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Beltxe in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nelson's Erubiel Joachim got a free kick in the 11th minute. Carmelo Basualdo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erubiel Belmiro. Nelson's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erubiel Belmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Bernebe's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Flavio Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Bernebe in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Belmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Abelardo Bernebe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lucas Lordi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiro Escobar. Ballester F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballester F.C's goalkeeper Vladimiro Escobar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Abarca hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Abelardo Bernebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Lordi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiro Escobar. Ballester F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Leonardo Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballester F.C's protests and gave Leonardo Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 minutes, Abelardo Bernebe made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Nelson's Erubiel Belmiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Abelardo Bernebe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballester F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After having played for 43 minutes, Abelardo Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballester F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Bernebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Abarca struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Erubiel Belmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballester F.C.

The wind increased when Federico Ovando made the kick off in the second half. Damian Beltxe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Erubiel Belmiro made a huge save. Ballester F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carmelo Basualdo in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Ballester F.C's corner Carmelo Basualdo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erubiel Belmiro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 59th minute, Ballester F.C's Abelardo Bernebe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erubiel Belmiro. Erubiel Belmiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After having played for 61 minutes, Damian Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballester F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Belmiro came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballester F.C's Abelardo Bernebe. But to his dismay, Abelardo Bernebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Ballester F.C's Cristian Uxio was substituted for Damian Beltxe. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballester F.C's goalkeeper Vladimiro Escobar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Abelardo Bernebe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erubiel Belmiro. Abelardo Bernebe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 78thth minute of the game Cornelio Quico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nelson's Erubiel Belmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ballester F.C's Abelardo Bernebe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 86th minute Jeremias Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Octavio Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abelardo Bernebe came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ballester F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Bernebe couldn't finish the play. When Ballester F.C's Abelardo Bernebe in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nelson's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Abelardo Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballester F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Bernebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Belmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Nelson fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ballester F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
