In the 36th minute, JD Morrison's Hermengildo Jacob ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Gelmiro. Oscar Gelmiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Higinio Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Ireno, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Oscar Gelmiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Amor in the 46th minute.

After 55 minutes of play, JD Morrison's Gerardo Amor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Gelmiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaspar Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USC Palermo's Oscar Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Amor in the 60th minute of play. Placido Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Higinio Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USC Palermo's Oscar Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Dolfo in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, JD Morrison's Gerardo Amor made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Gelmiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! USC Palermo's Placido Ireno got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Leonides Mundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Oscar Gelmiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Placido Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Gerardo Amor made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Gelmiro. USC Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Oscar Gelmiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Jacob went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 92 played minutes, JD Morrison's Laureano Bembe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Gelmiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JD Morrison reached it. Gerardo Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Gelmiro having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JD Morrison had played much better football throughout.
