Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Atlético Düsseldorf FC's Edgard Arias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Aureliano Gaizkine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Gaizkine in the 14th minute of play forced Estudiantes 's goalkeeper Vinicio Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Veto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Jamal Dawson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Silvanito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Estudiantes 's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Gaizkine came free, but Vinicio Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Gaizkine in the 26th minute of play forced Estudiantes 's goalkeeper Vinicio Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Silvanito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Gaizkine's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the game, Alvaro Licerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Vinicio Silvanito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vinicio Silvanito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Licerio in the 40th minute of the match. Vinicio Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Arias in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Estudiantes 's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Arias came free, but Vinicio Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Estudiantes 's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Gaizkine came free, but Vinicio Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Aureliano Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Atlético Düsseldorf FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Estudiantes 's Vinicio Silvanito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes from getting a goal against them. Edgard Arias took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Silvanito. Vinicio Silvanito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The supporters of Estudiantes booed when Atlético Düsseldorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Edgard Arias took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Vinicio Silvanito to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Aureliano Gaizkine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vinicio Silvanito. That made the score 0-8 in the 83 minute of play. Aureliano Gaizkine in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vinicio Silvanito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 88 minutes into the match, Estudiantes 's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Dawson came free, but Vinicio Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Silvanito made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Alvaro Licerio sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Estudiantes 's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Arias came free, but Vinicio Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Estudiantes getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rigoberto Ignatius hit a great ball. With his leg Vinicio Silvanito managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Atlético Düsseldorf FC's Aureliano Gaizkine fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 97 minutes into the match, Estudiantes 's goalkeeper Vinicio Silvanito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Gaizkine. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlético Düsseldorf FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
